Stratford-Upon-Avon: Stratford Town Walks

The Secret Garden

I'm sure it has an official title but this little piece of tranquillity is a real treat for escaping the crowds. It is behind Nash's House (New Place) and is free to get in (Hurrah!). It may not be Kew Garden but after pushing your way through the bustling streets in search of somewhere to eat your pasty it will come as a welcome bit if calm. It’s really nicely laid out and there are several statues on show in honour of big Will but most important of all there are plenty of benches to spread out on and plan how to get a crafty visit to the pub worked into your day’s agenda.
