Royal Festival of the Horse – Superb Horse Sport and a Great Day Out This Summer

Royal Festival of the Horse is an exciting new event for the equestrian calendar. Hosting top level competition and demonstrations from all the equine Olympic sports, the Festival will be the ultimate equestrian experience for 2010. Each day, a different discipline will headline in the main stadium at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, 9th, 10th & 11th July.

Dressage
Dressage is the main arena focus on Friday with the World's No.1 dressage rider Edward Gal providing an exciting and informative masterclass.  In addition to the masterclass the UK's top riders will compete in a spectacular freestyle dressage to music. Friday 9 July is a must for all dressage enthusiasts.

Top Class Show Jumping
On Saturday, Britain’s finest show jumpers will converge on the main arena.  Ben Maher, Tim Stockdale, Laura Renwick plus Michael and William Whitaker and other elite show jumpers will vie for the prize pot of £45,000 in what his sure to be a tightly fought contest of agility and speed with classes comprising of 1.60m jump off and speed class - sure to thrill the crowd.

One Seat Sees All Eventing
Sunday’s main arena highlight will be Express Eventing, the compact stadium format of 3-day eventing. Young stars of the future will compete in dressage to music, exciting cross country and show jumping.

Pat and Linda Parelli will host events and demonstrations in the Parelli Pavilion throughout the three days providing an ideal opportunity for natural horsemanship followers to learn more about the Parelli method and meet with like-minded horse lovers.

Friday and Saturday evening is Pat Parelli time, with Pat providing inspiration like only he can and challenging the audience to make the world a better place for horses and humans.  The evening performances are the ideal opportunity for those horse lovers new to Parelli Natural Horsemanship to find out more.

Sunday is Savvy Club Sunday – and is only open to Savvy Club members. This special day has been designed specifically to take your horsemanship to a new level with more insight, more strategies and more depth of understanding.  Seats in the Parelli Pavilion are limited ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ so purchase your tickets today.

Lots More to See & Do
Over the three days, the main arena programme will be complemented by Royal Show showing classes, Pony Club Musical Ride, a dedicated heavy horse area, farriery national championships and demonstrations plus Horse Box World will display the latest in horse transport. Across the showground, over 200 top quality stands will provide a shopping heaven.

With the average cost of a wedding in 2011 reported to be over £21k it seems the ideal time for this sort of site to be launching.
