Hall's Croft was built in 1613 and was home to Shakespeare's eldest daughter Susanna and her husband Dr John Hall before they moved to New Place on Shakespeare's death. The house provdes an interesting insight into how the comparitively wealth lived in those times. Most of the potraits and furniture date from the 17th centrury and create a real atmosphere when you walk around this home from a bygone era. On Shakespeare's death the Hall's moved into New Place another of the Shakespeare's properties which are managed by the Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust
